A class
Laptop Class A Class :
1. Works as intended and has no frontally visible marks on the display in working condition.
There are no missing elements such as strip of indicator diodes, etc.;
2. No breakages around the ports - missing pieces or small cracks that would detract from the aesthetic and normal use of the item.
A minus class
A laptop classified as A minus (-) class :
3. It works according to its intended purpose, and it is possible to have a minor remark/ s on the frontal display in working mode - hardly noticeable and/or almost imperceptible, or visible only at a certain angle, and/or only under certain lighting conditions.
4. Remarks on the casing due to transport or use are possible, which are absolutely insignificant and/or hardly noticeable such as cracks, small broken pieces, etc.
In class
A laptop classified as B class :
5. Works as intended, possibly having a frontally visible note/s on display in working mode.
6. There may be missing decorative elements that do not affect the functionality of the item, such as: hinge covers, sealing plates to the battery, molding on the indicator diodes, broken teeth on the cooling grids, cracks or breaks on the case.
They are not criteria and are not taken into account:
7. All laptops, regardless of what class they are, may have traces of inventory marks on the case ( RSM – removed security mark).
8. The wear and tear and degree of use, as well as the absence of absolutely insignificant elements such as sealing rubbers, caps, etc., which do not affect the normal use of the article.
9. The presence of burnt pixels or sub-pixels when they are up to ten in number on the entire screen.
10. Non-working factory or service sealed port, for example: locked USB.
Laptop battery
11. Defective battery (Defect) – a battery that is not able to last more than 5 minutes in working mode during a hardware test of RAM memory is defective.
12. Weak battery (Weak) – a weak battery is one that is not able to last more than 29 minutes in working mode during a RAM memory hardware test.
13. OK battery (OK) – a battery that is able to last more than 30 minutes in working mode during a RAM memory hardware test.
14. It is not a criterion and is not taken into account:
– Battery life other than above. Laptop battery life varies depending on: how the laptop is used; whether the power saving mode is on; memory and screen size; type of processor and video card; the operating system; the energy transmission network; the way the laptop is maintained by its owner; climatic conditions such as humidity, air temperature, etc.
Computer
A class
Class A computer :
1. It works as intended and has no marks on the body such as broken areas, etc.
In class
A computer classified as Class B :
2. Works as intended, may have case note/s such as: missing or broken case elements or small cracks that grossly detract only from the aesthetic appearance of the item. For example – a broken or cracked front panel.
3. It works according to its purpose, and there may be some remarks on the external ports such as: PS2, VGA, USB connectors, etc.
They are not criteria and are not taken into account:
4. All computers, regardless of what class they are, may have traces of inventory marks on the case ( RSM - removed security mark).
5. The wear and tear and degree of use, including the absence of decorative and sealing elements such as feet, caps, rubber bands, etc., which do not affect the normal use of the article.
6. Non-working factory or service sealed port, for example: locked USB .
MONITOR
A class
Monitor classified as Class A :
1. It works as intended and there are no frontally visible marks on the display in working mode.
A minus class
Monitor classified as A minus (-) class :
2. It works according to its intended purpose, and it is possible that there may be a minor remark/s on the case and/or display on the front in working mode - hardly noticeable and/or almost imperceptible, or visible only at a certain angle, and/or only at certain brightness.
In class
A monitor classified as B class :
3. Works as intended and may have frontally visible body and/or display mark(s) that are pronounced and visible in operating mode.
They are not criteria and are not taken into account:
4. All monitors, regardless of what class they are, may have traces of inventory marks on the case ( RSM – removed security mark).
5. Notes on the display in working mode, visible only at a very high angle, as well as signs of use on the monitor housing.
6. The presence of burnt pixels or sub-pixels when they are up to ten in number on the entire screen.
Tablet
Class A
The tablets have a good appearance, with possible normal traces of use , both on the glass of the screen and on the case.
Slight superficial and absolutely insignificant scratches, wear, micro cracks, etc. are possible.
Class A -
The tablets have a good appearance, with possible normal traces of use , and in contrast to Class A , there is a more pronounced, but nevertheless insignificant remark.
Class B
The tablets have a good appearance, with possible normal traces of use , as with them, unlike Class A- the remark is easily distinguishable, but nevertheless, it does not interfere with the normal functioning of the tablet.
Printer
A class
Class A printer :
1. It works as intended, has consumables available and is faultless on a test copy.
A minus class
Printer classified as A minus (-) class :
2. Works as intended, has consumables available and minor print and/or test copy and/or case notes.
In class
A printer classified as B class :
3. Works as intended, has consumables available and possible note/s when printing and/or on test copy.
4. Possible remarks on the body such as: missing or broken sections, cracks that disturb the aesthetic use of the item.
They are not criteria and are not taken into account:
5. Inoperative or service sealed port, for example: locked LPT1/USB.
6. The wear and degree of use, including the absence of decorative and sealing elements such as caps, rubbers, the number of copies per counter, etc., which do not affect the normal use of the item.
Consumable - toner cartridge
7. Demo/Low Toner – the cartridge is in this status when the toner level on a test copy shows that it is below 30%.
8. OK Toner – the cartridge is in this status when the toner level on a test copy shows that it is above 30%.
Uncompleted monitor, laptop, computer, server, printer
Equipment with class A/A minus/B - uncompleted
The term uncompleted is used when a monitor, laptop, computer, server, printer of the corresponding class is missing a certain component(s) that limit its use and the corresponding component must be added in order for the item to have full functionality.
Examples:
- missing tablet pen;
-missing adapter;
-missing HDD (hard disk);
- missing RAM (operational memory);
-missing PSU (power supply);
- missing keyboard;
-missing keyboard buttons;
- others.
